Report a tick

You can either:

1. Send us a PHOTO of the tick specimen by attaching an image to the insect ID form at this LSU Entomology Department link (please use something as a scale for size, such as a penny or ruler). Multiple images are preferred. 
2. Send us a TICK SPECIMEN directly in the mail.  Please use a tightly sealed plastic container. Freeze killing is fine, or you can place it in a liquid preservative if available.  Tape around the edges of the container before mailing.
